Ummm, the kids should be wearing shoes outside. Too dangerous to step on pebbles or any other sharp object, not to mention having filthy feet. Other than that, the kids look like they enjoy the outdoors!
Thanks Peaches, The girls were so excited watching their daddy put together the swing that they wouldn't let me sit them down to put on their shoes. When you're outnumbered, sometimes you just have to go with it.
Sometimes, you've got to just let the kids feel the grass, feel the pebbles, let them get dirty; i.e. "just let them be kids". Remember the feel of soft grass on your feet when you were a kid? I say, you're right on! Let them be little, they're only that way for a while.
They looked like they had a blast! I'm a teacher, and outside play is the highlight of the kids' day. Good for the soul. Thanks for sharing the video:)
Great video! I grew up on 3.5 acres and I don't think I wore a pair of shoes until I started grade school :) As long as no one has been breaking bottles in the backyard, they are good to geaux and a little Wal-Mart feet never hurt anyone!
